This phrase has been punctuated by endless memes on social media. It’s a fun thought. You know, thinking about what authors must be like. Picturing them sitting at their writing desks, holed up in their study.
A bottle of scotch sits within arm’s reach. Or is it vodka, or wine?
Missing the Mark
I found out today that I didn’t get a job I’d recently interviewed for. I thought the job interview had gone very well and I really enjoyed my interactions with the panel. This was a job I felt was well within my capabilities and would have also provided me with an opportunity to grow. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
The End is Near
While I wasn’t keen on going back to school, I could see the benefit of going back and completing the MBA program with WGU. I have the technical side of my career covered, and this would help me expand on my leadership roles.
Remind Me Tomorrow
I bought a MacBook Pro this last Fall after starting my new job. The original intent was to use it for writing. And I have. I’ve written quite a bit, as a matter of fact. I’m a Windows user primarily, but I did use a Mac when I worked for Pearson School Systems some years ago. It wasn’t my preferred OS, but I don’t really have anything against Macs.
